We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOC) Adaptive Airborne Enterprise (A2E) Project Engineering Team located in Poway, CA. This team specifically focuses on developing new hardware and software capabilities for AFSOC unmanned aircraft platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Develop innovative but practical solutions to advanced technical problems in engineering.Provide Lead Project Engineering support from proposal development through contract award and execution.Support lab, ground, and flight test events as well as customer training events.Provide hands on support troubleshooting and problem solving in lab and flight test facility environments.Document findings and make technical presentations to engineering management, USAF Program Office and AFSOC Leadership.Direct activities of design or technical staff and may lead a team of moderately experienced professional staff.Provide expert guidance and consulting to other staff members working on difficult engineering problems.Anticipate engineering needs and modifications to support future customer goals and provide engineering estimates to GA-ASI management.Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
