The Work
Join our Ship Integration & Test team in Mt Laurel, NJ, supporting engineering staff in the development of technical data packages for combat systems integration!

The Engineering Aide will interface with engineers
and external activities to:
• Review technical documentation to identify,
document, and resolve documentation discrepancies
• Coordinate technical exchange meetings
• Support Technical Data Package (TDP) development
• Review and verify technical data products (e.g.,
cable block diagrams, room arrangement drawings,
equipment drawings, change description)
• Generate technical summaries
• Maintain database
• Misc. Engineering Tasks

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or completed Associates degree in Engineering
• Technical acumen with the ability to read and interpret system block diagrams
• Ability to establish and maintain technical dialogue
regarding equipment drawings and system block diagrams
• Strong organizational skills with ability to keep track of multiple projects in various development stages
• Proficient with MS Office tools suite
• Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
Desired Skills:
• Ability to read and decipher technical cabling and equipment drawings and system block diagrams
• Strong consideration will be given for candidates with USN shipboard experience in the AEGIS Combat System or AEGIS Weapon System, preferably as an operator or maintainer
• Ability to travel and work in an industrial
environment, specifically a shipyard or shipboard
environment
• Strong Interpersonal skills with experience learning work flow processes
• Logical/Analytical Thinker
• MS Teams experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
