Job Description

•\tTroubleshoot and repair failed UPSes and power systems down to component level

•\tDocument failure symptoms and repairs for production and customer repairs

•\tAssist in root cause analysis identification

•\tDocument and analyze repair trends

•\tFollow and adhere to production ISO policies and procedures.

•\tWork with design engineers to identify product improvements and ECOs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tExperience using electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Power Analyzers and a-c and d-c loads to troubleshoot electronic circuits.

•\tHighly proficient in the use of soldering equipment for SMT devices and hand tools used in electromechanical assembly.

•\tAbility to read mechanical prints, interpret drawings and schematics to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic circuits.

•\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills

•\tAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Team player and willing to work collaboratively across the organization.

•\tExperience using Puddy, SNMP, computer tools for troubleshooting.

Education/ Experience:

•\tAssociates degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical training.

•\t5 years+ experience testing and repair of power electronic circuitry and systems down to component level

•\tExperience soldering fine pitch SMT components to IPC610 class 2 standards.
