We are seeking a skilled Engineering Aide to troubleshoot and repair failed UPSes and power systems down to the component level. The role involves documenting failure symptoms and repairs for both production and customer repairs, assisting in root cause analysis identification, and analyzing repair trends. You will also work closely with design engineers to identify product improvements and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Adherence to production ISO policies and procedures is essential in this position.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair failed UPSes and power systems down to the component level.
+ Document failure symptoms and repairs for production and customer repairs.
+ Assist in root cause analysis identification.
+ Document and analyze repair trends.
+ Follow and adhere to production ISO policies and procedures.
+ Work with design engineers to identify product improvements and ECOs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
+ Proficiency in the use of soldering equipment for SMT devices and hand tools used in electromechanical assembly.
+ Ability to read mechanical prints, interpret drawings and schematics to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic circuits.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively across the organization.
+ Experience using Puddy, SNMP, and computer tools for troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical training.
+ 5+ years experience testing and repairing power electronic circuitry and systems down to the component level.
+ Experience soldering fine pitch SMT components to IPC610 class 2 standards.
+ Experience using 8D or similar problem-solving processes and tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00
