The qualified individual will be specializing in parking and mobility. As a Parking and Mobility Planner with Kimley-Horn, you will benefit from hands-on experience, technical software and consulting trainings, and developmental programs geared towards growing Kimley-Horn’s future leaders. Responsibilities Contribute to the planning and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scopeSolve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environmentDevelop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standardsEvaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulationsPrepare strategic parking and mobility plans that require a technical skillset, understanding trends, evaluating potential solutions and developing content explaining the details of this work in an easy-to-understand mannerCoordinate with various municipal and state agenciesGain exposure to diverse project experiences as we provide services to both the public and private sectors, such as universities, mixed-use developments, municipalities, and healthcare Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, City Planning, or Similar3 or more years progressive in Parking and Mobility Planning leadership, operations, policy, and administrationAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyExposure to Excel, GIS (ArcPro), and Adobe Suite experience is a bonus Why Kimley-Horn?
