JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:- Driveline Simulation Engineer
Department:- Driveline Design
Reports To :- Driveline Manager
1.) Job Purpose: –
Design engineer will be responsible for Design and analysis of Driveline line component from manufacturing, assembly and function prospective. Candidate should have the ability for Kisssoft/Kisssys modelling. His job profile will include benchmarking of various making layout, design calculation, detail drawing and release. Capable of working in cross functional matrix environment and coordinate with other design function like DMU, DAS and Engineering service for Design release. In this position will work very closely with Modena and other international locations Will be taking care for current and new products.
2.) Dimensions: –
Reporting through Superiors / Managers : Global Technology & GPL Organizations
Reporting through Subordinates : Chief Engineer/Competency heads
Position Responsibility : India & International Region.
3.) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: –
Good Knowledge of the product/Aggregate in details. Make concept layout of Driveline assembly and Sub assembly 3D modelling of parts 2D drafting of parts without error as per CNHi Guidelines Installation Drawings of 3D Assembly Ability for Kisssoft/Kisssys modelling Good Communication Skills (good English language) to communicate from Global team Expert in using design tool like DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and design calculation Basic Knowledge of FEA & DAS to analysis the report Good understanding of Gear Design & Calculation, Stack-Up Analysis and General Dimensioning & Tolerances Capable of Test Plan definition for design validation Analysis the issue/Problem and find out the solution by using the best design practice like stackup etc Use of design software like Teamcenter, Visual mockup etc
5.) Background Information and Main Activities: –
Design engineer should have good understanding of the product. Able to make design calculation, layout, details drawing and release. Handle the project independently. Able to guide and help the people working in the same team. Communication to the other design team to ensure proper flow of work and task to be completed within the specified time frame. Part drawing, assembly drawing and specification release is done as per CNH Standard practice without any mistake. Regular communication with other design location Coordinate with platform, program manager and other competence for the task done completely.

Complete the work in the time frame as per the guidance of senior team member Release the part drawing with no mistake Accountable for meeting own targets, which impact the immediate team. Experience with virtual design validation alternatives desired (examples: FEA,CFD, 3-D Virtual Protyping) Agricultural and/or Construction Equipment experience desired. Work in cross functional team within the PD department Provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced engineers.
