Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT) within Functions Technology (FT) provides solutions and support to Senior risk management team who manages firm-wide enterprise Risk & control across multiple risk categories. This role is a senior management level position as the Engineering Software Manager within Enterprise risk management technology. This role will lead a global team of engineers and collaborate with Architects in building risk management solutions with robust design, design patterns and architecture that are innovative, consistent with firm standards and best practices. This role needs to collaborate with ERM Product manager/owners and business stakeholders who manage business requirements, program scope and other deliverables. Candidate for this position is expected to have not only as lead but on in-depth hands-on experience in enterprise application development in Java, JEE, Angular JS, React and RDBMS, and Bigdata areas. Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills as well as strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

In-depth technology experience in executing enterprise level projects and be able to leverage innovation in design, development and deliver robust solution through collaboration, socialization of ideas and capture peoples thought processDrive the design and development of solution with close collaboration from solution architecture, key business stakeholders, and enhance the quality of deliverables. Ensure adherence to policy and procedures throughout SDLC (Agile practice)Meet with stakeholders, program sponsors, and First & Second line of defense (LODs) to define end-to-end business process, define high level scope and roadmap, and other operational requirementsManage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g., performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process.Create and maintain long-term strategy to achieve business and regulatory objectives in a systematic, well-designed, and timely mannerPrepare and present program/projects updates with risks & issues and potential remediation plan to senior management and business leadersWork closely with key technology SMEs to address business architecture requirements.Provide conceptual analyses for a variety of broad and complex issuesManage all products from design to implementation and ongoing performance according to business requirementsEnsure all technology standards are developed, understood and adhered to operationally around the globeEnsure that Citi makes appropriate strategic choices in onboarding, managing and exiting of vendors from the product portfolioManage a department of multiple teams from various technology disciplines, overseeing planning, performance management/counseling, pay decisions and other personnel actionsProvides an environment where Subject Matter Experts can prosper and deliver effectivelyOversee the technology budget and manage the budget and forecasts to ensure relevant targets are metUtilize in-depth knowledge of how technology integrates within Citi and of direct competitors products and servicesMake evaluative judgments based on analyzing information in complicated or unique situations, utilizing multiple sources of information

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in enterprise application development with full stack technologies.Proven hands-on experience in Java, JEE, Streaming, API, Microservices, Containerization and UX/UI tools such as Angular JS/React, etcIn-depth knowledge on data engineering, DB models and architecture in RDBMS, Big Data and other cloud databases such as snowflake, Databricks, etc.Have strong fundamentals in programming languages, data structures & algorithms Excellent can-do attitude, problem-solving, creativity skills with good critical thinking Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in FinTech or financial industry is beneficial but not mandatoryExposure to GenAI models and experience in implementation of business use cases in LLM preferred
