DevOps assistance needed to stand-up and maintain integrated software environments used to develop, integrate, test and deploy mission critical military systems in a lab setting. The successful candidate will be working under direction of a lead engineer to advance development environments that enable Anti-Submarine Warfare systems vital to our nation's defense. Successful applicants will join a team that currently develops, delivers, and operates fully integrated solutions for military users across the globe. Work Schedules: Manassas, VA, Syracuse, NY, Moorestown, NY and Littleton, CO works a Flex 4x10 schedule. Marinette, WI works a Flex 5x8 schedule
Basic Qualifications:
Must be recent high school graduate (within past 24 months) and able to work full time, 40 hours/week schedule.
Good working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills, tools & databases.
Detail oriented.
High School course work or lab experience in one or more of the following: design, robotics or other competition teams related to engineering projects, STEM, PLTW, and/or CTE.
Experience in working effectively with teams but also independently.
Strong communication skills.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge/Experience with Python, C++ and Java
Knowledge of Linux and Bash, XML configuration knowledge, and some SQL experience.
Troubleshooting and software testing.
Experience with software installation and testing.
Good working knowledge of computer hardware and the associated pieces of equipment inside a computer.
Hardware Design - Electrical Systems - 3D Modeling (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCad, Zuken, etc. - Rapid Prototyping (3D printing, etc.) - Robotics - Engineering Competitions/Projects.
Troubleshooting hardware related tasks.
Agile process experience, especially using Jira.
Familiarity with Linux virtualization, including VMs, containers, Databases, SQL, and Kubernetes.
Some higher-level programming using languages such as C, C++, or Java or experience with A+ Linux shell scripting knowledge.
Knowledge of switches and/or Routers.
Experience troubleshooting complex hardware related tasks.
Ability to work on a Naval Vessel.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $20,900 - $40,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $24,100 - $43,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
