Department Overview:

The Engineering Configuration Specialist will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. This position would assist the Order Management team within the Global Infrastructure Delivery (GID). The focal point of GID is to support the deployment of Data Center teams worldwide and the precise execution of projects and equipment in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities Manage Product Lifecycle as it relates to BOM/GPN Changes Manage BOM Rule Changes (via Configurator) Manage CCB Bugs Support development of standards, policy and procedures Work with functional stakeholders to define and document process flows, policies, data creation/flow/change management, and related business rules. Propose Process Improvements Assist with investigating Asset Management issues Support development and maintenance of key business Metrics Coordinate cross-functional decisions impacting shared data, tools or processes. Triage and resolve process and data issues for the internal organization or partners. Develop and execute root cause remediation strategies for data issue Qualifications: 4-7 years of work experience in a high paced business setting Degree in Mfg/Product Engineering Experience in one or more of the following fields: Mfg/Product Eng, PDM/Product Lifecycle Management, BOM Management Advances knowledge of formulas logic and ability to create them from scratch  Technical experience with sustaining management processes Experience working on hardware products (servers, networking, storage) Proven experience in suggesting/proposing process improvement Excellent communication and project management skills Effective computer application skills and excellent attention to detail; quick learner with creative problem-solving and analytical skills
