The objective of the Process Control Engineering Supervisor is to manage the implementation and support of effective manufacturing processes at the Mt. Clemens site. The successful candidate will manage a team of Process Control and software engineers at the Mt. Clemens site. The team is responsible for the design, programming, commissioning, and support of
the various control systems at the site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide functional team leadership for Process Control technology.
Provide 24/7 support to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing through process control and automation.
Develop, establish, and maintain world-class Automation and Process Control capabilities utilizing internal and external EI&C resources.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of process control experience
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience
Preferred chemical/pharmaceutical/ oil and gas/ food and beverage experience
Extensive knowledge of Electrical, instrumentation and control strategies. Including the application of instrumentation and control equipment.
Experience with industrial network design.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) /HMI which includes ABB, Siemens and Rockwell control system platforms.
Experience across control system platforms (AB Rockwell/Siemens / ABB-Bailey)
Experience with Data Historians ( Aspentech IP21 or Aveva PI)
Experience applying ISA standards for automation process control (Safety Instrumented Systems - IEC61511; Manufacturing Cyber Security – IEC62443; Alarm Management – IEC62682)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering or technical discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Chemical engineering) with background in industrial process control systems.
