Job Title: Engineering DesignerJob Description
This individual is responsible for preparing product drawings and project bill of materials, maintaining equipment parts lists, ordering parts, scheduling deliveries, and reconciling invoices for parts, as instructed by the Engineering Supervisor or designee.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare engineering drawings of the company’s standard products using CAD software in 2D and 3D (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, etc.).
+ Program using CAM software for CNC Machines / Router.
+ Assist in the product development process by preparing engineering sketches and drawings from prototype products or samples.
+ Prepare other engineering drawings, as needed.
+ Prepare Bill of Materials for projects.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of Design experience in Solidworks/Inventor.
+ 4+ years of CAM programming experience.
+ 4+ years in a Manufacturing Environment.
+ Knowledge of 2D/3D modeling, tooling, measuring, and caliper tooling.
+ Experience in drafting, design engineering, R&D, and reverse engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Capable of understanding and supporting quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety requirements, as applicable to this position.
Work Environment
Candidate will be working in an office environment and will occasionally walk to the shop floor to interact with engineers, shop personnel, and salespeople. The role involves working 80% in a team capacity and 20% independently. All necessary PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, and steel toe boots, will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00
