Summary: Seeking an Engineering Designer I to develop innovative and sustainable packaging solutions while optimizing processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

Proficiency in CAD software and packaging-specific tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) Strong understanding of packaging materials and manufacturing processes Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards for packaging Experience with sustainability certifications or lifecycle assessments (e.g., ISO 14040/44) Familiarity with automation and machinery used in packaging processes

Responsibilities:

Design innovative packaging solutions for transportation, storage, and use Create prototypes and conduct performance testing Research and select appropriate packaging materials Partner with suppliers for material compliance Develop environmentally friendly packaging solutions Evaluate packaging lifecycle impacts and recommend improvements Optimize packaging processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Analyze and resolve supply chain packaging issues Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
