Engineering Drawings Checker   Responsibilities   * Review existing and new drawings and designs to verify they meet current AIST, CMAA & AISI standards * Review calculations to determine that the calculations match the detailed part * Verify that designed and detailed parts match the fit, finish and dimensions complete * Verify assembly drawings and bill of materials are complete and accurate * Determine if detailed design is functional and can be fabricated without difficulty   Education/Experience   * 15+ years experience in Mechanical Design, weldment design or crane design * Good design and detailing skills * Proficient in reading all types of drawings * Extensive experience in fits, tolerances and Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Inventor a must) * CMAA or AIST knowledge a plus
