Job Description:

This position supports the Intelligence and Cyber Sector’s Cyber expansion strategy and our DoD and Intelligence Community customers to advance our Cyber capabilities across new mission areas.  We develop world-class offensive cyber capabilities in support of our customer’s most challenging missions and seek to identify cross-business synergies to align these capabilities to new, highly complex mission spaces.

The Chief Cyber Engineer will serve as the innovation and technical execution leader responsible for flawless delivery of highly creative cyber products and solutions in support of US National Security interests.  The ideal individual will possess a strong understanding of multidisciplinary processes, principles, and techniques, and will have a proven track record of successful technical leadership.  The successful candidate will drive Cyber CNO/CNE technology innovation, manage R&D road-maps and budgets, drive execution excellence, and craft new development ideas. The Chief Engineer will also be the lead Engineer in the Sector, responsible for ensuring that Cyber Engineering resources are sufficient to meet business needs, and that processes presented by Engineering disciplines are sufficiently rigorous to support flawless project execution. The Chief Engineer will work effectively with senior business leadership as well as program, technical, business development and R&D entities for developing technology strategy, supporting program needs, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and interfacing with customers.

This is a full time position in Palm Bay, FL or Dulles, VA and may require up to 20% travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.Active TS/SCI Security ClearanceExperience working with US Government customers.10 years of relevant experience in Cyber IO, CNO & CNE requirements development, analysis, design, integration, verification, and test.Familiarity with engineering processes with the ability to help tailor the process to fit the technical and business circumstances and ensure design defects are discovered early in the development process

Preferred Additional Skills:

Degree in engineering disciplineExperience leading CNO/CNE operationsFamiliarity with Agile Development principlesExcellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment which includes working with remote sites, collaborating with internal and external partners, and staff members working from home.Highly motivated self-starter that can operate with minimal oversight in diverse environments. Must be able to proactively detect, identify and address issues quickly.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
