Our continually expanding client base gives us an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in various industries.  We are seeking full-time Engineering Field Technicians to join our Chantilly, VA team.    Responsibilities: + Observing and testing soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry & asphalt according to applicable standards + Preparing accurate field reports and assisting with laboratory testing + Daily interaction with team members and various project stakeholders + Obtaining necessary certifications and training + Other related tasks, as assigned by supervisor Experience, Skills & Abilities: + High school diploma or equivalent + Experience working in construction environment + Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Well-organized and reliable individual + Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends + Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving history   + Good written and oral communication + Ability to periodically lift and carry 50 pounds of weight and stand for long periods of time + Current WACEL and/or ACI certifications preferred Benefits: + 401(k) + Paid time-off + Paid holidays + Medical insurance + Dental insurance + Vision insurance + AD&D insurance + Career development + Certification assistance Drug Free, EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability At this time, Stevenson Consulting will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
