Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

At this level you are expected to operate with a high level of independent discernment and are typically responsible for implementing functional strategy, administering and coordinating programs, counseling and advising management.As a fully-qualified individual contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the function, you will provide expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.Resolve highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.Ability to quickly comprehend critical business requirements and their technical implications on IT Systems and interfacesConversion of Business area inputs into IT and Vehicle systems technical requirementsManage, prepare, and coordinate appropriate business/technical meetings and workshopsInteraction with 3rd party resources as required to support and ensure organizational capability developmentTrack schedule and project deliverables with all stakeholders (GM internal & Third party).Leadership communication and status report on project and/or Project DashboardRigorous adherence and follow-up of product Change Management process methodology

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software or Mechatronic Engineering (CREA required).5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic or software or mechatronics or IT within automotive industry.Knowledge on Scaled Agile product delivery team, comprised of cross-functional company peers and component supplier engineers to continuously prioritize, refine, and deploy component and system features.Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability in relevant Engineering disciplinesHands-on experience with DFMEAs, and other analysis tools and techniquesGood interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively across organizational boundariesStrong product execution/project management skillsAbility to deal with ambiguity and good sense of urgencyPrioritization and negotiation skillsSystemic view of end-to-end solutionsEnglish Fluent

Desired Qualification’s:

Electrical Engineering BachelorDFSS Black Belt certificationSpanish FluentMid-level Network/Telecom knowledge, Experience with Software and App Development Life Cycle methodologies and concepts.
