Overview Overview We are looking for an experienced HVAC certified Maintenance person, who is highly motivated, and detail oriented to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer. This individual performs in various shifts am, pm or overnight on-call as needed. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, Painting, wall repair, tile work and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program of the resort/hotel. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. Must have experience in HVAC and related controls troubleshooting and repairs Must be familiar with electrical and pneumatic controls. Automation systems experience a plus Experience with mechanical service nad repairs of pumps, motors, valves and all other mechanical related components Laundry and kitchen equipment service experience a plus Familliar with chilled water systems Working knowledge of air and water system balancing and calibration Small boiler and water heater repair experience a plus. This is a full time, year round position with benefits. Must be flexible with schedules to accomodate business levels Must be available for weekends and holidays Generous benefits include medical, paid holidays, sick/personal time, and uniforms. Company provides vehicles. Applicants will be drug tested. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum (1) year experience working in building maintenance; Hotel or Hospital environment preferred. MUST have basic experience in all maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, Experience using basic hand and power tolls. HVAC experience and Certification is required for this positon. Bilingual in communication preferred not required. Able to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs. and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance; able to push, pull without assistance pull up to 200 lbs. Able to climb ladders up to 30 feet high and reach in all directions, often overhead. Please be advised, we are a large full-service hotel and as such this position requires extended periods on your feet with frequent long walks around the internal areas of the hotel along with considerable physical activity on a continuous basis, up to and including entire shifts.
