Job Summary
This position will support the Avient Specialty Engineered Materials business unit. The Intern is responsible for supporting the technical, lab testing, production, clerical and project work.
 
Essential Functions
•    Supports the department with all necessary technical, lab testing, sales, production or clerical work.
•    Supports the department with all necessary project work.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications - External
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education and Experience
•    High School Diploma
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in progress
•    1 year of professional experience
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate
•    Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
•    Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
