Job Details Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems Location: Vernon, CA, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 (Depending on the year of college) Basic Job Functions: Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking qualified intern applicants for the position of Engineering Intern. The responsibilities for this role include, and are not limited to, reviewing engineering calculations with the support of another Engineer, working closely with the teams Engineering Lead, along with communicating and organizing engineering calculations per customer/project. Intern will get the opportunity to review client drawings and ensure calculations align with the system design. The Engineering intern position allows an entry level engineer to gain experience working with several Engineers, reviewing, and understanding structural calculations, and working in a professional environment as an engineer in training. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
