Engineering Intern (Manufacturing) Summer 2025

Responsibilities Description of duties and responsibilities: Work alongside the Globe Engineering Team (Pittsfield, NH) to improve processes with process improvement and lean activities such as time studies, methods analysis, and Kaizen events Create production assembly documents (e.g. OMS, Work Instructions) Collect work measurement samples through time study methods Create and maintain bill of materials and production routings Update production floor layout (equipment and workstation) using AutoCAD Manage and improve production costs through analysis and reduction efforts Participate in Lean, Kaizen, 6S and Value Stream Mapping activities Qualifications Special knowledge, skills and abilities required: Basic experience with data analysis methods and graphing Creative problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to work in a team environment Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel and Access Education and experience required: Must be pursuing a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, or other relevant Engineering discipline, from an ABET-accredited program, and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year before beginning this co-op rotation. #LI-GM1
