Job Title: Engineering Lab Technician
Job Description

Perform various mechanical testing on automotive parts and products.

ResponsibilitiesConduct mechanical testing on automotive parts and products.Perform dimensional inspections using various tools and equipment.Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and laser scanners for measurements.Apply metrology techniques to ensure accuracy in measurements.Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.Essential SkillsAssociate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a similar field of study/technical school.Proficiency in metrology and dimensional inspection.Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).Ability to use a laser scanner.At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical testing and calibration skills.Experience in a drafting/designing position with a desire to transition to a hands-on role.Work Environment

Primarily lab environment with some computer work. Monday through Friday, 1st shift, with flexible start times between 6:00-8:30 AM. Option to work 4 ten-hour days for the right candidate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
