Job Title: Engineering Lab TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing specimens, performing tests according to standard procedures, and generating high-quality test reports. You will collaborate with production and engineering staff to troubleshoot non-conforming products and maintain a clean and efficient lab workspace. Essential Skills + Experience in wire testing, mechanical testing, and chemical testing. + Proficiency in working with lab equipment for mechanical, thermal, or chemical testing. + Knowledge of SolidWorks. + Experience with molding and elastomers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read and interpret industry test standards. + Strong organizational skills to create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures for lab equipment. + Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner. + Attention to detail in maintaining clean and efficient lab workspaces. + Ability to recognize changes in trends across various tests and projects. Work Environment You will be working in an industrial laboratory setting, utilizing a variety of lab equipment for mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing. The role requires maintaining a clean and efficient workspace in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
