Engineering Lead
**Engineering Lead** **Location- Arlington, Va** **Clearance- Top Secret** **This program requires US Citizenship** **Responsibilities:** Lead all technical design efforts related to implementing or improving ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and support. Design and optimize a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment similar to that of the current ARNG NGB NCR NEC environment. Provide engineering solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Develop and maintain technical documentation, including as-built diagrams, schematics, and configuration details. Ensure all engineering projects conform to the latest DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) guidelines. Manage and coordinate individual IT initiatives and projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and improve NGB NCR NEC service offerings. Perform configuration management and planning to meet availability and capacity requirements of current and future services. Support the Service Delivery process by providing enhanced technical knowledge and analysis to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities. Collaborate with other contractors and Government organizations to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT services. Implement and maintain processes for the management and tracking of assets and Configuration Items (CIs). **Required Qualifications** : Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III or IAM Level III certification. ITIL Foundation Level Certification. Minimum of five years of experience designing and optimizing a VDI environment similar to that of the current ARNG NGB NCR NEC environment.
