Engineering Lead - US Remote
Responsibilities: + Develop and modify user-facing and backend features for web/mobile applications; + Build reusable code and libraries for future use; + Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability; + Support ongoing development for existing projects/applications; + Collaborate with project partners to translate business requirements into digital solutions; + Work closely with UX and design resources to ensure technical feasibility of designs while maintaining user-centric focus; + Work within a product team to prioritize and implement new application features, while simultaneously maintaining quality of existing features and functionality; + Assist product manager in managing product backlog, assigning points to backlog items to accurately establish velocity, and establish sprint goals; + Collaborate with Solution Architecture on developing product/platform vision and roadmap; + Work with FTE and outsourced engineering resources to drive results; + Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place; and + Contribute to EPS strategic planning particularly technology direction and project resourcing. Qualifications: + Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include: + 5 years of experience in building web-based and API-based solutions by leveraging AWS Cloud Technologies and AWS certified; + 5 years of experience working in an Agile environment working closely with offshore teams to deliver solutions; + 3 years of experience in developing API-based solutions using node.js; and + 3 years of experience working in CI/CD using DevOps tools including Jenkins, Cloud CI/CD tools like Code Pipeline, Code Build and Code Deploy and Bitbucket.
