What will you do? Provide assistance to the plant maintenance department with regard to repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment used in manufacturing operations. Manage maintenance and engineering projects including expense and Capital projects involving both Kerry and contract resources. Ensure that all engineering related work aligns with Kerry and industry standards for sanitary design, ergonomics, employee safety, and food safety. Develop and implement solutions for equipment, facilities, and maintenance needs. Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement processes. Develop manufacturing processes for new products. Seek and incorporate best practices and new technologies. Provide guidance and leadership in Asset Life-cycle Management (ALM). Provide leadership and methods to drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc.). Minimum 7 years of total combined maintenance and engineering experience, with at least 3 of those years at a manager level. Food industry experience desired but open to other industry experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience preparing estimates and budgets, structured project management and continuous improvement processes. Great communication and people leadership skills. Excellent computer skills and SAP is a nice to have. Compensation DataThe typical hiring range for this role is $105,129 to $159,134 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
