Summary: Seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in Electrical Design/Construction and Industrial Integration to lead and manage the engineering department.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Electrical Design/Construction and/or Industrial Integration
Leadership experience managing/leading team members
Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Willingness to perform after-hours emergency calls
Willingness to travel for overnight stays
Valid driver's license
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Proven independent thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program with business management experience
Knowledgeable in NFPA/National Electrical Code Standards
Experience with PLC programming and HMI programming software
Familiarity with OSHA requirements related to electrical engineering and safety policies
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical systems for various purposes.
Operate computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.
Direct manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
Prepare technical drawings and specifications; ensure conformance to standards.
Perform detailed calculations for manufacturing/construction standards; develop bids/budgets.
Inspect installations; ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Support company objectives; lead performance management; oversee cost control measures.
Participate in hiring processes; conduct training for new hires.
Supervise/train project team members; manage/evaluate productivity of the engineering department.
Interface with account management/sales; manage workflow/reporting within operations.
Manage relationships with clients/vendors/suppliers/service providers.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
