Job Title: Engineering ManagerJob Description The Engineering Manager provides both technical and team leadership for all aspects of the research, design, development, and production readiness for innovative new products and improvements to existing product lines. The Engineering Manager is accountable for the successful realization of high-value product solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role provides collaborative, hands-on leadership, expert technical guidance, clear direction, and consistent reporting on projects to ensure the company's position as the most trusted source for life safety equipment. Responsibilities + Lead all aspects of the engineering design process from conceptual design to detailed product documentation, analysis, testing, verification, and validation. + Own the product realization process, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), cost and margin estimation, production methods, fixtures, equipment, and seamless handoff from engineering to operations. + Create, implement, improve, and maintain sound engineering processes. + Provide leadership and support to ensure consistent use of the processes, tools, and procedures for the engineering team to be successful. + Provide resource management and prioritization to support new and existing product developments, ECO projects, process improvement projects, and other production support activities. + Engage with relevant stakeholders and lead product/process analysis for safety, quality, cost, and efficiency improvements. + Provide guidance, development, and mentorship to ensure the high performance, effective utilization, and continued development of internal resources.
