Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our in-process test procedures and system interface testing. You will be responsible for designing and creating test procedures, generating required engineering documentation, and providing test support for our engineering team. Your technical expertise in system designs and familiarity with EEE parts selection will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate in-process test procedures and data sheets for PCA’s, modules, and top-level system testing.Design and create system interface test plans based on customer performance specifications and supplied documentation.Develop top-level system test requirements including Thermal Cycling, Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock, and EMI testing.Produce engineering documentation such as failure reports, Discrepant Material Reports (DMR), Recovery Test Plans, and engineering change notices.Manage test data storage and maintain accessibility for company review.Provide test support for engineers, technicians, and engineering associates, including tools, test equipment, and equipment rental or purchase.Demonstrate technical understanding of typical system designs, including passive and active designs.Ensure familiarity with EEE parts selection, characterization, evaluation, screening, traceability, and derating requirements for space applications, including radiation.Essential SkillsProficiency in laboratory and test equipment.Experience in test engineering and developing test plans and procedures.Technical understanding of RF/Microwave assemblies and system designs.Experience with LabVIEW and test development.Knowledge of passive designs (e.g., power dividers, filters) and active designs (e.g., oscillators, amplifiers).Ability to perform temperature compensation using thermistors (PTC and NTC).Familiarity with EEE parts selection for space applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).10 years of engineering experience in related fields.Experience working in the aerospace, space, and defense industry.About Actalent
