Job Description

As an Engineering Manager at Mondelēz International, you will be at the forefront of driving the plant's full investment agenda, leading high-impact projects across growth, productivity, infrastructure, utilities, and facilities. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Leading the Full Investment Agenda: Take ownership of all types of investment projects within the plant, including those focused on growth, productivity, infrastructure, and utilities & facilities. Your leadership will be pivotal in transforming strategic initiatives into tangible results.Project Scoping and Planning: Develop comprehensive project scopes, create business cases, and plan budgets and timelines that align with our business objectives. You’ll ensure that each project is set up for success from the outset.Ensuring Best-in-Class Execution: Oversee all phases of project execution, from design and implementation to startup and handover. You will directly supervise project teams, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.CAPEX Tracking and Reporting: Manage capital expenditures with precision, tracking and reporting within Mondelēz International’s defined framework to ensure financial discipline and transparency.People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop your team of engineers, ensuring that each member receives the training, coaching, and support needed to excel. You’ll cultivate a high-performance culture that drives individual and collective success.Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including Plant Managers, Finance, BD&E, Functional Leads, Regional Engineering Stakeholders, and others. Your role will involve clear communication, collaboration, and alignment to ensure project success.Scale of Responsibility: Manage large-scale capital investment projects and programs ranging from $5MM to $20MM USD. You’ll provide direct or indirect leadership during the concept/design stage and build the capability within your team to execute projects with the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and employee safety.

The Experience You Will Bring:

7+ years of Engineering Project Management experience, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of leading large-scale investment projects.University Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Project Management.Experience in Managing Complex Projects: Expertise in scoping, planning, and executing a variety of investment projects, with a strong focus on safety, budget management, and timing control.Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to effectively engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders, from plant-level management to regional and functional leaders.Proven Leadership in People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies: Practical experience in applying project management methodologies to deliver successful outcomes.Fluency in English & Polish, with proficiency in other European languages considered an advantage.Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
