About the Role
You'll directly manage a total of 4-6 staff, including site engineers and gas operations managers with varying degrees of experience in the environmental and solid waste industry. The ideal candidate will possess superior problem solving and management skills that will be applied to a diverse portfolio of technical projects. Your team is directly responsible for engineering, construction, permitting and gas system operation and maintenance at eight (8) solid waste disposal facilities across Minnesota, North Dakota, and Iowa. You'll be continually challenged to use your knowledge and skills to advance WM’s status as the leader, and innovator, in providing comprehensive waste management services to a variety of customers.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Competencies
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license In-depth knowledge of landfill design and permitting Familiarity with HyrdoCAD and AutoCAD Strong project management skills with ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
