**Job Description:** The **Engineering Manager** is accountable for: + Working closely with prototypes on new product introductions to assure the products are introduced on time, problems are minimized and communicated quickly, and products are manufactured efficiently. + Introducing major new process changes and process equipment, including specifying the equipment, validating it, and transferring it into production. + Coach and collaborate with CNC Engineering department and Production on all aspects of process changes and validations. + Maintaining the product configuration and establishing the configuration for Maintaining the Master Validation Plan, and (re)validating process equipment. + Validating outside suppliers, and validating tooling (i.e. molds) owned by Nobel Biocare. + Understanding and maintaining the ECO/MCO process. + Making improvements and maintain Preventive maintenance system for all of CNC and production equipment and processes to reduce downtime, improve yield, productivity and quality. + Supporting EBS, and participating in and leading kaizen events, particularly Working on CAPAs as assigned. + Support CNC, Surface Treatment, Clean Room and Packaging to ensure reliability of equipment and minimize Safety, Quality, First Pass Yield, labor efficiency, delivery KPIs as required. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** + Directly supervises engineers and technicians. + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. + Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Job Requirements:** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent field of study; additional education or certifications are a plus. + At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role managing people and projects, working with automated equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment, and operating in a regulated manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of product and process validation, machining and surface treatment processes + Experience with medical device regulations is required (ISO13485/MDR) + Knowledge of ECO/MCO, product configuration, and ERP systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Possess project management, good written and verbal, team building, leadership, organization, attention to detail, and computer skills. ​ \#LI-RJ1 IND123 **Target Market Salary Range:** Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
