**Job Description:**
The **Engineering Manager** is accountable for:
+ Working closely with prototypes on new product introductions to assure the products are introduced on time, problems are minimized and communicated quickly, and products are manufactured efficiently.
+ Introducing major new process changes and process equipment, including specifying the equipment, validating it, and transferring it into production.
+ Coach and collaborate with CNC Engineering department and Production on all aspects of process changes and validations.
+ Maintaining the product configuration and establishing the configuration for Maintaining the Master Validation Plan, and (re)validating process equipment.
+ Validating outside suppliers, and validating tooling (i.e. molds) owned by Nobel Biocare.
+ Understanding and maintaining the ECO/MCO process.
+ Making improvements and maintain Preventive maintenance system for all of CNC and production equipment and processes to reduce downtime, improve yield, productivity and quality.
+ Supporting EBS, and participating in and leading kaizen events, particularly Working on CAPAs as assigned.
+ Support CNC, Surface Treatment, Clean Room and Packaging to ensure reliability of equipment and minimize Safety, Quality, First Pass Yield, labor efficiency, delivery KPIs as required.
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
+ Directly supervises engineers and technicians.
+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
+ Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
**Job Requirements:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent field of study; additional education or certifications are a plus.
+ At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role managing people and projects, working with automated equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment, and operating in a regulated manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledge of product and process validation, machining and surface treatment processes
+ Experience with medical device regulations is required (ISO13485/MDR)
+ Knowledge of ECO/MCO, product configuration, and ERP systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Possess project management, good written and verbal, team building, leadership, organization, attention to detail, and computer skills.

**Target Market Salary Range:**
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
