Description:

The Engineering Manager is responsible for development and implementation of engineering programs and processes. This position is hands-on and has responsibility for all engineering related functions.

Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.

Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.

Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.

Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.

Project Management, resource allocation, timeline, process design & implementation

Revise, Develop and maintain engineering standards.

Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.

Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.

Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.

Attends trade shows and conferences, and makes site visits to suppliers’ facilities.

Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.

Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.

Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers.

 MUST HAVES:

BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

5 plus years of CNC Machining experience

5 plus years of Engineering Management experience

Minimum of 10 years experience as an engineer in the aerospace/automotive industry with machined components and/or electro-mechanical assembly.

Skilled in SolidWorks, Mastercam ( or similar package), and CNC programming

Experience using ERP software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
