About the role:
Join Dashlane as an Engineering Manager for the Web Platform Team and take part in a mission to create a beautiful and scalable application with global impact. As a team manager, helping us build, grow, and lead the teams that are building and maintaining our Dashlane web extension that is used by millions of clients around the world.
Location:
You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).

Build a strong ownership and accountability culture within your team, as the business and product complexity grows at a rapid pace. Help your direct reports grow and develop as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates Recruit new engineering managers and software engineers, and participate in Dashlane’s effort to be visible in the tech community in Portugal Support teams and make them autonomous by giving them all the appropriate tools they need to deliver without friction Lead managerial initiatives to improve our current systems and processes in support of the company’s mission Research and improve your platform´s Developer Experience and combine that as part of the Platform roadmap Work with passionate teams of engineers, product managers, customer support agents, and others in a friendly and multicultural Manage a distributed team across France and Lisbon.Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering of which 1+ years of experience of people management (ideally in a distributed environment) 1+ years of experience working in a platform team Fluency in EnglishWe're Also Looking For:
Javascript/Typescript experience Comfortable in documenting and leveraging RFCs and ADRs Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane's size and scaling up (100-500 employees) Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field
