Job Description Summary:
As an Engineering Process Technician, you will support new manufacturing engineering developments and continuous improvement actions. You would have responsibility for establishing standard work that is executed safely and ensures the production of high-quality products that meet customer and project requirements. Drive continuous improvement by improving cycle times/cost and resolving technical/process issues. Assist with repairs and collaborate closely with both Operations and Engineering organizations.

What you’ll do
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.Validate design specifications.Effectively communicate project status with Operations and Engineering leadership.Develop standard work (operation sheets) for new or modified processes.Utilize technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute tasks.Program and run sinker EDM and CNC mills.Support product qualifications as needed.Collaborate with Engineering to improve equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutions.Engage in Lean Initiatives.Conduct risk analyses of manufacturing processes and implementation of development proposals.What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum High School diploma / GED equivalentMinimum 5 years manufacturing experience in heavy/metal industry.Familiarity with EDM and CNC millsProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker.Team player who works collaboratively with others.MS Office user-level knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).What will make you stand out
Advanced technical qualification (BSc or MSc).Experience programming and operating EDM sinkers.Experience operating CMM.Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling software.Experience in designing tooling and fixtures.Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and production teams.Familiarity with basic lean principles – takt/cycle and 5S.Understanding of GD&T.Eligibility Requirements:
