We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager, with a strong background in hardware reliability as well as knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods used in reliability engineering. You'll work in battery technology and ensure the reliability of our consumer hardware products, support automation processes, and lead cross-functional organizations to achieve department goals. **Description**
As a Program Manager at Apple, you will support and manage technical programs focused on the reliability of consumer hardware products. In this role, you will: - Be responsible for driving reliability testing protocols and procedures for battery technology. - Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks throughout the product lifecycle. - Analyze failure modes and develop strategies to improve product durability and performance, and regularly prepare and present detailed reports and updates on program status to collaborators and senior management. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and manufacturing, to ensure project landmarks are met and provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of reliability and quality. - Support automation efforts to improve reliability testing and data analysis, demonstrating your strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Minimum of Bachelor’s in an Engineering field such as Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
+ Experience running technical programs with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of experience supporting battery reliability on consumer electronics.
+ 4+ years of experience in hardware reliability, particularly in display technology and reliability.
+ Competent programming skills in Python or similar languages, with experience supporting automation efforts.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
+ Expert use of Tableau or similar business information programs.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
