Engineering Program Manager
**Summary:** Meta is seeking an Engineering Program Manager, Technical Operations to join our Data Center Engineering and Construction (DEC) team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly growing infrastructure operates, and our innovative services are delivered as we continue our mission to build community and bring the world closer together. The program enables the difficult design and decisions supporting the complex intersections of technical domains. Ultimately, this role focuses on Meta’s engineering expertise to bring complex technical and cross-functional problems from definition through design to produce executable engineering packages specific to the Network Connectivity and Optical Engineering details of a building. This requires technical understanding of the building while also driving results with stakeholders across Infrastructure. **Required Skills:** Engineering Program Manager Responsibilities: 1. Manage cross-functional program design projects covering a range of technical domains (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, data center construction, network, hardware systems, capacity management, etc.) through to completion. 2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio strategy for AGI program deployments that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives. 3. Ensure alignment of AGI programs with OKRs, Hardware Roadmap(s), Building/System Block strategy, and value propositions that meet current business needs. 4. Drive complex problem statement development and create milestone schedules that end in decisions and implementation. 5. Interface with Engineering, Facilities, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Construction, Network, Cabling, Security and business owners for project requirements and scope. 6. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, and testing phases. 7. Digest technical drawings, questioning the inputs of the engineers across multiple highly technical engineering departments and helping to bring all of it together into a cohesive executable package. 8. Manage dependencies and handoffs effectively and optimize schedules accordingly. 9. Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions. 10. Conduct business process re-engineering reviews to innovate on business processes and define ways to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. 11. Drive continual improvement of productivity. 12. Identify areas of risk and drive solution with subject matter experts within the organization. 13. Lead training and education programs for internal and external partners. 14. Report and drive alignment and decisions from leadership across multiple organizations. 15. Travel to datacenter sites as required. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 16. Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. 17. Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field such as mechanical engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, network connectivity engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 18. Large scale critical infrastructure, Research and Development, and/or data center experience. 19. Proven track record driving results on complex problems with many stakeholders. 20. Experience building relationships and driving collaboration from cross-functional teams. 21. 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management/Project Management. 22. Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational experience. 23. Understanding of Engineering details and the impacts of change across multiple disciplines. **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 24. Proven communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail. 25. Experience building relationships and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional teams. 26. Experience with managing projects related to data center design, hardware design and capacity management. 27. Knowledge of design, construction, network, hardware, capacity management. 28. Experience adapting and learning new skill sets quickly. 29.
