Sr. Engineering Project Manager
Job Description
Responsible for managing medium to large scale, technically complex, New Product Development and/or Value Engineering projects and have portfolio oversight. Leads System Level Project oversight with a strong sense of independence and autonomy but guided by cooperative collaboration with subject matter experts. Leads project teams through the Stage-Gate Product Development process from concept (ideation) to post-release with a strong sense of urgency. This may include the facilitation of development brainstorming events and post-launch activities intended to support a smooth transition into production. Lead the parallel path development of manufacturing production lines, including the design of fixtures and End-of-Line test equipment through IQ, OQ, PQ approvals. Chair project meetings with a focus on scope control, schedule updates, budget tracking, and risk management throughout the life of the project.
Hard Skills
+ Experience with NPD products and gathering requirements
+ Must have experience with IoT and/or consumer products
+ Must have an engineering degree
+ Coordination, organization, and development of scope
+ Well-rounded experience within all areas of cross-functional groups
+ 10+ years of NPD PM experience (concept into production launch, value engineering projects)
+ Understanding of development projects (cross-functional project management)
