Specific deliverables will include the identification of project requirements, establishment of clear and achievable objectives while balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost. As project manager, you will need to adapt the specifications, plans and approach to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders, customers, and users._ **THE ROLE** In this role you will be responsible for: + _Develop and manage the engineering project work for manufacturing and distribution from scope development through implementation and start up_ + _Recommend and purchase bulk processing, product storage, packaging, logistics and facilities equipment_ + _Project, construction and cost management for end-to-end capital projects and initiatives_ + _Prepare layouts and supervise installation of machinery_ + _Improve the performance and efficiency of machinery while maintaining quality standards_ + _Automate bulk processing, product storage, packaging, logistics and facilities processes_ + _Promote good safety and housekeeping practices in each production mini-plant_ + _Support engineering departmental objectives_ + _Perform annual reviews with direct reports_ + _Maintain a teamwork atmosphere of trust and cooperation_ + _Plan and assign work of subordinate employees_ + _Support operations (manufacturing and distribution) in the training and service of all new equipment purchases and upgrades_ + _Manage the project budgets_ **WHAT YOU’LL BRING** We’d love to see candidates who have: + _BS in engineering (ME/IE/EE preferred)_ + _5+ years’ experience in a LEAN & cGMP environment producing cosmetics or OTC-drug / processing and packaging environment_ + _Project capital management experience required_ + _Project, construction and cost management experience required_ + _Knowledge of manufacturing/distribution/processing automation, machine design_ + _PMP certification preferred_ _Special Skills Required:_ + _Extensive and detailed knowledge and experience with hygienic processing, storage, packaging, logistics and facilities equipment_ + _Knowledge of machine controls, PLCs (RSLogix 5000, FT Batch, FT View SE, FT Historian, FT VantagePoint) and VF drives_ + _Strong mechanical and electrical ability_ + _Strong knowledge of Vessels, Pumps, Mixers, Homogenizers, Hygienic Piping/Welding_ + _Strong knowledge of Cold and Hot Purified Water Systems (US pharmacopeia)_ + _Strong leadership qualities_ + _Excellent interpersonal skills_ + _Computer skills including Excel, Power Point, MS Project and AutoCAD_ + _Strong communication skills_ + _Technical expert_ + _Ability to grasp and implement new technical concepts and methods_ + _Ability to create and manage project budgets, constraints, time, and scope changes_ **WHAT WE OFFER** This is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
