Engineering Project Manager
Job Purpose The role is a member of the Business Unit Engineering Team responsible for the selected E2E design and delivery of the business unit capex program. The role will be responsible for all aspects of delivering a variety of projects from collaborating on the brief, working with stakeholders & business partners to complete Concept, Feed and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning. Engineering project manager will be responsible to ensure that projects are delivered on time with a strong focus on construction safety, quality, budget & schedule adherence. Main Responsibilities • Work independently to deliver an agreed portfolio of projects • Ensure professional project execution at factories and sites (Inhouse & 3P) with strong stakeholder engagement • Check feasibility of capex projects working with stakeholders and business partners to clarify the brief, understand work scope, rough costs and viable timelines. • Work with stakeholders & business partners to develop Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs to meet the business need inputting local requirements and constraints. • Develop Project Execution Plan and schedule as input to the FEED report. • Execute the project ensuring adherence to schedule, budget. • Manage site construction and contractors ensuring Unilever Construction Standards are applied. Candidate Criteria Experience & Qualification Essential + 5-6 Years experience of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry + Project Management experience + Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver projects to a high engineering standard. Desirable + Good Plant Design and Project Engineering experience in FMCG co and relevant Engineering consultancy firms + Working knowledge on International Engineering Standards + Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Power Point and Word + Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, 3D’s Primavera & Agile We highly encourage applicants to exclude information on age, gender, and school/s in view of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
