Engineering Project Manager III
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager III. This role is within the engineering industry and will encompass a range of responsibilities from leading complex cross-functional engineering assignments to managing all financial aspects of product development. Responsibilities: • Lead and execute complex engineering projects that may cross traditional product lines. • Direct supervision of cross-functional team members ensuring efficient project execution. • Manage project costs including capital expenditures and cross-functional expenses. • Independently plan and implement engineering projects utilizing diverse new approaches to problems through adaptations and modifications of standard engineering principles. • Identify and resolve complex issues, including the development of new design experiments. • Maintain effective communication and matrix management skills to coordinate multiple disciplines within the project. • Utilize independent judgment in the evaluation and adaptation of various engineering techniques. • Oversee product development, ensuring it aligns with project costs and financial aspects. • Manage the project plan, ensuring all tasks are executed in a timely manner. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in planning, design, and supervising engineering projects • Proficiency in expense reporting and capital management • Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development processes • Ability to manage and modify project plans effectively • Experience in direct supervision of a team and matrix management • Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve complex issues • Proficiency in using USA Cedar.AI and NIS software • Ability to exercise independent judgment and show adaptability in diverse situations • Experience in managing financial aspects of engineering projects • Demonstrated ability to execute project plans and adapt to changes • Ability to work in the USA and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
