The Software Engineering team is looking for an engineering project specialist passionate about building relationships and large-scale logistics. The ideal candidate has the ability to balance technical prowess with proactive customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.DescriptionDescriptionThe Hardware Allocations EPS role works cross-functionally across many teams at Apple to plan for allocations of development hardware and identify and resolve issues in support of software engineering. This role includes responsibility for: - Managing complex business relationships and hardware demand for software engineering teams - Applying your knowledge of engineering teams requirements, analyze, interpret and make deductions based on program details and business patterns - Maintaining accurate and detailed hardware allocations database - Driving reporting and data analytics to support business decisions - Defining approach for meeting fiscal constraints and engineering demand for prototype hardware used by software engineering teams - Scrutinizing and approving all requested quantities, testing justifications, and configuration requirements for prototype hardware to be used by software engineering teams on a global scale - Tracking delivery schedule and prioritize distribution to critical teams, highlight any delays and communicate multi-functionally - Designing workflows to meet key deliverables for early software milestones, including enabling first remote access to hardware for global teams - Partnering with multi-functional groups such as legal, engineering services, hardware development and operationsMinimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBS/BA or equivalent experienceExceptional verbal and written communicationKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsDetail oriented with project management skillsExperience with the analysis of large and complex data sets highly desirableDemonstrated decision making skills in an engineering environmentSelf-motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking capabilitiesExcellent time management skills; you love to prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to be more effectiveProficient in Apple applications, including Numbers and KeynoteEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $188,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
