You will provide leadership to the union hourly and support Cast assigned to the department's 3rd shift operations within Facilities and Operations Services (FOS) at the Disneyland Resort. You will lead the fabrication and sustainment of multiple Resort assets. You will be based out of the Cerritos St. Warehouse (located in Anaheim) but will travel to the Resort daily to lead field operations.
You will report to an Area Manager of Facilities and Operations Services (FOS)

**Responsibilities/You Will**

+ Develop and implement safety strategies that continue to improve the safety of guests and cast
+ Promote a culture of safety by addressing concerns and thoroughly investigating every injury or near miss
+ Provide authentic and conscientious leadership, while acknowledging the fundamental need to serve, supporting Cast Members
+ Ensure operational readiness by developing and leading maintenance plans that are guided by increasing asset lifecycle and show quality.
+ Communicate and model organizational vision/goals to your team
+ Provide regular feedback to Cast Members to improve skills and performance
+ Identify, leverage, and use FOS/technical partners
+ Well-defined tactics to meet dynamic goals within set timelines.
+ Hold teams accountable for performance and ensure that the product not only goes above and beyond but also aligns with the organizational vision
+ Translate reports and data in a way that allows Cast Members to absorb the information, and improve performance
+ Work toward continuous improvement, driving strategic measures to improve guest experience, cast support, and operational/equipment efficiency
+ Understand the Craft Maintenance Council contract and administer the guidelines
**Technical skills**
+ Lead projects including, scope development, budgeting, resource management, scheduling, and communication
+ Demonstrate technical skills in applicable areas and improve technical proficiencies in areas that are not a strength
+ Demonstrate technical proficiency with our safety programs and policies
+ Inspect the quality of completed projects and reconcile them to job plans
+ Proficient in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
+ Seek solutions to technical challenges. Be curious, don't confuse speed bumps for roadblocks, and always dig beyond the easy answer

**Basic Qualifications/You Will Have**
+ Shown business and technical skills
+ Comfort with understanding and conveying written and verbal data and analysis to partners at all levels
+ Present quantitative analysis with qualitative insight into compelling recommendations in a concise story
+ Establish a vision for your team that cultivates innovation, along with continuous improvement
+ Experience successful team building
+ Understanding of how to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story and recommendation
+ Willing to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts including 3rd shift and working extended hours to complete time-sensitive tasks
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 5 or more years of leadership and technical experience in a related field
+ Understanding of coatings, latex, oil and enamel, stains, primers, and patching compounds. Knowledge in surface prep for painting (sanding, scraping, cleaning, patching, and caulking) and a basic understanding of the use of craft tools (brushes, rollers, mixers, spray equipment, sanders, ladders, etc.)
+ Knowledge of the Plastering Industry, flatwork concrete, masonry work, mold model making, and fiberglass lay-up.
+ Basic knowledge of mill operation/general carpentry work and an understanding of tools, materials, and methods used in the craft
**Required Education**
+ High School degree or Equivalent
**Preferred Education**
+ BS degree in a technical field of study
The hiring range for this position in California is $107,500.00-$126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
