About the Role & Team
Engineering Services Managers supervise both mechanical and electrical trades while leading a team of up to 50 craft workers.
As an (Attractions) Engineering Services Manager, no day will be the same – from keeping “TRON Lightcycle – Run” humming, to supporting animated figures for “It’s a Small World” – anything is possible in this role!
You will lead a team of hourly maintenance employees who perform corrective and preventative maintenance on our world-renowned shows and attractions. You will also perform administrative work which includes scheduling, payroll, and coordinating inspections, with a focus on the professionals you lead and the guests who come to Disney to have a magical experience!
What You Will DoEnsure your team is performing tasks safely and efficientlyCreate concise turnover reports that will be referenced by your peers, leaders, and executivesHelp your team get to the root of a problem and find a solutionManage your team in the solving of mechanical and electronic systems which might include a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), hydraulics, pneumatics, audio and video systems, drive systems, and DC/AC Motors from all erasWork in a collaborative environmentWork in the field across Disney propertyRequired Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience in a maintenance-related field including direct experience in an industrial, plant, manufacturing, theme park, or transportation maintenance environment3+ years of leadership experience in a maintenance environmentUnderstanding of electrical and electronic functions, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and subassembliesRemarkable time management skillsOutstanding coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilitiesComfort interfacing with multiple levels of the organization including executivesAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as a willingness to work some evenings, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts including overnight shiftsPreferred QualificationsFinancial management and budgeting experienceFamiliarity with SAP and maintenance reporting/scheduling systems such as MaximoEducationA Bachelor of Science degree or comparable experienceAdditional InformationBenefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
