Job Title: Engineering Specialist Job Description We are seeking an experienced Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role involves verifying the accuracy and integrity of data within the SAP system, conducting piping inspections, and reviewing technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial plant environments and be comfortable with field verification tasks. Responsibilities + Verify the accuracy and integrity of data within the SAP system. + Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure data consistency with established standards. + Collaborate with data entry teams and system users to address and rectify any identified discrepancies. + Generate reports and documentation to communicate data verification results. + Contribute to the development and implementation of data verification protocols and best practices. + Conduct walk-downs of piping systems to verify the accuracy and integrity of pipe tags and labels. + Inspect the condition of pipe identification labels and markings. + Ensure that piping systems adhere to project specifications and relevant codes and standards. + Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve any identified discrepancies or issues, including ordering and installing new markings. + Review technical drawings, including mechanical and electrical plans, to ensure compliance with company standards. + Redline drawings to identify field errors, discrepancies, or areas for improvement. + Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve drawing issues. Essential Skills + Proficiency in SAP data verification. + Experience with technical drawings and piping inspections. + Comfortable with walk-downs and field verifications for reviewing equipment and drawings. + Familiarity with utilities equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, boilers, HVAC, and compressors. + Industrial plant experience in any industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Engineering degree and 2 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred. + 5 years of experience can be substituted for a degree. Work Environment The position involves field verification work, confirming equipment and piping installations against technical drawings. Dress code and specific safety protocols will be observed as per the facility's standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
