The Under Sea Warfare (USW) DevSecOps Syracuse Site Senior Manager is responsible for leadership of an Integrated Engineering organization through the successful capture and execution of various exciting products to include torpedo and sonar products as an example, within the Undersea Warfare portfolio at the Syracuse, New York site. This leader is responsible for and leads all engineering disciplines within Syracuse USW. A key responsibility for this individual is recruiting, strengthening, energizing, and retaining quality engineers. This leader will ensure strong process and tools are employed in engineering efforts, and a continuous improvement is made via 1LMX and other mechanisms. The DevSecOps Senior Manager is responsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical Quality of all engineering products. This leader will be responsible for healthy collaboration and partnership with the USW Chief Engineers and Program offices, Integrated Engineering leaders across other sites, as well as local C6 and IWSS leadership. Resource planning and optimization across programs is vital in this role, including quality forecasting and rapid response to demand for engineers.
This leader should have a demonstrated track record of Full Spectrum Leadership with a focus on performance, culture, and teamwork. Applicants should have proven experience in developing, communicating and executing a strategic organizational vision. As the senior manager with hundreds of engineers this leader must be a cultural shaper, ensuring their organization and team are motivated and lead to consistently demonstrate excellence.
This role reports to the Undersea Warfare Integrated Engineering Director.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in STEM with 20+ years of relevant progressive experience.
- In-depth skill / experience in leading the development of Complex Software and Hardware Products on challenging programs.
- Demonstrated experience in Captures, including Developing and Reviewing detailed Systems, Software, and Hardware Cost Packages.
- Demonstrated passion and skill in applying modern Engineering Development tools and process across the lifecycle
- Demonstrated leader or leader qualities such as setting strategy, strong communications, and energizing of teams
- Demonstrated proactive partnering across peer disciplines including the Program Office, Chief's office, etc.
- Experience in delivering creative solutions to engineering resource management (people, processes, and tools)

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $153,200 - $293,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
