As such, our **Anoka, MN** location is seeking **Engineering Student Interns** to add to our team for summer 2025. The Engineer Interns will support our engineering team on our **Federal Ammunition** product lines. Apply to this RARE awesome opportunity! **Responsibilities** + Create work instructions and/or operating procedures for new and existing equipment and products. + Complete time studies and capacity analysis for bottleneck equipment. + Document machine change over tasks and troubleshooting guides to improve machine uptime. + Support the Engineering and Operations staff in process improvement activities. + Generate reports and summaries of data and work performed. + Perform process capability studies as needed. + Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. + Create engineering change orders for print and document revision **Experience/Job Qualifications** + Engineering student in an accredited technical college or university. Prefer Manufacturing Mechanical or Industrial Engineer + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills + Proficient at handling ambiguity and dealing with multiple priorities + Continuous improvement and results oriented + Strong interest in working for Federal Ammunition / Vista Outdoor. **Desired** + Hands on experience with Six Sigma tools and lean manufacturing concepts + CAD experience (SolidWorks) + Statistical problem solving skills such as DOE using Minitab + Small Caliber ammunition manufacturing experience **Additional Information** + Monday thru Friday schedule (8-9 hour days) + Target internship dates: May 2025 - August 2025 **Pay Range:** $0.00 - $0.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
