Job Description
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will assist the Sr. Engineering Manager in planning, executing, and managing engineering activities. You will communicate, guide, and assist engineers to complete their assigned tasks, identify blockers, and take appropriate actions to resolve or mitigate issues. You will plan sequential and concurrent activities, assign tasks to team members, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and directives. Additionally, you will facilitate an environment that maintains a highly competent, well-trained, and motivated staff, promoting company culture, job satisfaction, and employee retention. You will also identify and assist in the implementation of technology and process improvements, establish team objectives, and perform other duties assigned by the Sr. Engineering Manager.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the Sr. Engineering Manager in planning, executing, and managing engineering activities.Communicate, guide, and assist engineers in completing assigned tasks.Identify blockers impacting engineers and take appropriate action to resolve or mitigate issues.Plan sequential and concurrent activities and assign tasks to team members.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and directives.Facilitate an environment to maintain a highly competent, well-trained, and motivated staff.Promote company culture, job satisfaction, and employee retention.Identify and assist in implementing technology and process improvements.Establish team objectives and obtain acceptance from team members.Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Sr. Engineering Manager.Essential SkillsEngineering management experience.Mechanical and electromechanical design expertise.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Experience in the product development life cycle.Knowledge of medical device standards, plastic systems, FDA, and ISO regulations.Ensuring ISO certification standards are met.Supporting the Quality/Business System in respective areas of responsibility.Monitoring progress of objectives for ISO certification and QSR requirements.Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences.Professional and proactive interaction with internal and external functions/customers.Ability to utilize and weigh the opinion of subject matter experts.Maintaining project momentum and dealing with diverse personalities.Solid Microsoft software usage skills.Strong planning, project management, and organizational competencies.Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and professional communications and presentations.Additional Skills & QualificationsProven ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.Work Environment
The work environment includes a professional setting where you will interact with various internal and external functions/customers, including Marketing, RA/QA, Service, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers. You will be expected to maintain a focus on quality while leading multiple activities and resources. The role requires solid technical aptitude and the ability to handle diverse personalities in a professional manner.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00
Will provide benefit details at time of offer with entire package inclusive of employee benefits at Sakura.
