Engineering Supp Specialist II - DV eFab
Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges

Work with a team of Technician and Engineering Resources in Electronic Test to build / modify / repair Red Label Avionics Products / LRU’s in the DV Red Label Cell. As well as support the build / repair of Test Equipment in the eFab (Electronic Fabrication group), as a secondary task when RLC demand is slow. This is a Support Specialist role as it encompasses three primary areas of focus for RLC.

IPC Certified to perform rework on Avionics LRU”s / Products, with strong experience with surface mount, including lead-free
SAP experienced for processing all the “paperwork” required for conformed units coming into RLC. Able to read and provide feedback on MI’s. Create production orders for RLC work. Create Conformity Packets and work with DER on sign-off.
Hold a Quality Stamp for Test Witnessing and sign-off on conformities for Test Witnessing

Cable HarnessesCircuit Cards including delicate and micro-electronicsBreak-out Boxes / Test AdaptersPower ControllersFull-up Test Stations / RacksEMI FixturesMicro-ElectronicsAble to read and understand electrical schematics and printsAble to read and understand mechanical schematics and printsKnowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters / strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, label maker, etc.Experience building / fabricating Test Equipment assembliesExperience working on red-label productsExperience with electronic troubleshooting and repairWork directly with engineering with build recommendations and offer problem solving solutionsFamiliar with IPC standards and/or IPC certifiedExperience with SAP, production orders, QN’sComputer savvy
