Creation is seeking an Engineering Support - Product Data Management to join our team. As part of Product Realization, the Product Data Management team supports all global Creation sites in maintaining accurate product data in our enterprise systems. For each new product, the team converts customer Bill Of Material (BOM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), and documentation into Creation systems. For customer Engineering Change (EC) orders, the team updates files and documents according to the EC instructions.
This role requires attention to detail and extensive knowledge of electronic components. The successful team member has potential to learn other skills such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reporting, CAD Management, and Environmental Compliance through team cross training over time.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBLITIES include, but are not limited to:
Data entry to set up new component part numbers and BOMs in PLMGenerate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)Search and review electronic component datasheets as neededGeneral system housekeeping, reporting and maintaining data integrityPerform Document management within PLMUpdating and maintaining cost information as neededPreparation of Assembly documentationQUALIFICATIONS:
3 years experience in an PCBA manufacturing environment, diploma or equivalent in an electronics-related disciplineExperience with Engineering Change Orders and Bills of MaterialsStrong software experience and aptitude (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, etc)Must have excellent computer skills: working knowledge of MS Office; Excellent Excel skills (formulas such as VLOOKUP, pivot charts etc.)Excellent keyboarding and/or data entry skillsOrganized, professional attitude, self-motivated and high level of attention to detail requiredExcellent oral and written English communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Windchill PLM or other PLMOracle ERP or other ERP knowledgeKnowledge of manufacturing processes and IPC specifications used in the production of PCBAsAbility to read, interpret, and validate PCB assembly drawings, schematics, and industry specificationsKnowledge in PCB data translation, including gerbers, ODB++In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $50k-$60k annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
