Job Summary Coordinates and performs maintenance and operations of building grounds and utilities systems to ensure the best care and treatment of patients.
Job Duties and Standards -Ensures standards set by JCAHO, NFPA, state and local codes -Expedites operations of department -Scheduling work priorities -Performing assigned work tasks -Completing service requests/preventive maintenance -Maintaining proper on-the-job conduct -Attending scheduled/required meetings -May estimate cost/purchase materials -Performs preventive maintenance on equipment -Dismantles equipment and devices to clean, repair, and install new parts using various tools, ladders, etc. -Completes Service Request forms upon completion of services and repairs -May perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 5 years' experience in a maintenance role, hospital experience preferred. Technical school/certification preferred.
